ASSOCIATED ARTISTS
We work with a dedicated team of associated creatives to bring our productions to life. From graduating actors, dancers and creatives to directors and technicians, to circus acts and musicians, our ever-growing team of students, staff, alumni and freelancers serve as the heart and soul of what we create.
ABOUT US
We are an exciting production company that produces live and digital events in Music, Film, TV, immersive content, Dance and Theatre across Bath Spa University. We bring together the Schools of Art, Film and Media and the School of Writing, Publishing and the Humanities with the Bath School of Music and Performing Arts through events, talks, workshops, festivals, productions and much more through our extensive programme of activities. All of this is based at Bath Spa University, engaging current students, alumni, staff, and professionals associated with the university.
Our aim is to connect students and graduates to the industries in which they are trained in. Students and graduates work with professional film and theatre directors, choreographers, writers, musicians, film and theatre companies, venues and music promoters – developing their networks for their future careers. We aim to bridge the gap between university study and the working industry by offering development opportunities that allow students to work in established venues, collaborate with experienced freelancers, and take their work into the real world. We do this with the support of our in-house Audience Experience and Development team, Bath Spa Live, who host a range of events throughout the year, and support us in engaging with the public through marketing, sales and developed experiences.
We work on many projects each year, including our largest event, SparkFest, a five-week celebration of the emerging talent across Bath Spa University's School of Music and Performing Arts. SparkFest promises a fresh look at how early career talent engages with Bath audiences and the region’s artistic and business community. OUR WORK

Every year, we produce a wide range of ambitious projects with students, alumni, staff and associated artists – from co-productions with the Film and TV departments to collaborations with dance and theatre companies, as well as work staged in major regional venues such as Theatre Royal Bath.
Our largest annual project, SparkFest, is a five-week performance festival showcasing the emerging talent from Bath Spa University’s School of Music and Performing Arts. It continues to grow each year, and remains a highlight of our programme.
Above all, we work to promote emerging creatives' work. Whether you are launching your band’s tour, acting in a professionally directed production, producing a dance piece, creating immersive digital content, or presenting scratch and development performances as part of SparkFest, you do so with the support of a professional production company.
