By Mary Shelley and Rona Munro
Directed by Ed Viney

Bath Spa Productions presents a final-year production by BA Acting students, in collaboration with BA Theatre, Festival and Event Production students.

A body is made. A life is given. A monster is born.
Rona Munro’s haunting adaptation places Mary Shelley inside the story she created, as Victor Frankenstein’s experiment takes on a life of its own.
Abandoned by his creator, the creature enters a world that fears him. As his loneliness turns to rage, Victor is forced to confront what he has made.
Moving between Mary’s imagination and the dark world of her creation, Frankenstein asks where the real horror lies - in the creature, in his creator, or somewhere much closer to home.

An amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books - www.nickhernbooks.co.uk
